hosted one last night of music on Saturday before the business relocates to newly renovated Downtown Woodstock. The musicians included some young Coffeehouse performers, and friends, and Zsler and The Day Trippers.

Lots of loyal customers came out to show their appreciation for the long-standing Coffeehouse, which some have been visiting religiously since it first opened. The show was a success, and many enjoyed saying their goodbyes to the old location and discussing the new.

Luckily, the crowd at the Coffeehouse is supportive, because the Coffeehouse has changed hands three times since first opening. But this time, current owners Mike and Laura Gullicksen have big plans for the favorite local gathering place. The new Woodstock location has 1,000 more sq. feet, not to mention being near the center of the downtown action.

While the Gullicksens plan on keeping a comfortable atmosphere for customers, there are definitely some changes in the works.

“We will be crafting a completely new experience for our customers to enjoy our commitment to great coffee with great service in a comfortable environment,” said the Gullicksens.

As part of these changes, an auction was held this Sunday for customers to purchase the eclectic furniture and art that has been part of the Coffeehouse for years. It went well, and the Gullicksens were able to unload quite a bit of the memorabilia. Customers were encouraged to bid on their favorite piece of Woodstock Coffeehouse, and many, including past employees wanting a piece of their history, took full advantage.

The Coffeehouse is scheduled to re-open sometime this April, with a and even better coffee.
