The accident happened Thursday afternoon on the northbound side of Exit 9 at Ridgewalk Parkway in Woodstock, and which shut down the entire northbound side of the interstate.

Along with the Woodstock Police Department, both Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services and the Woodstock Fire Department responded to the accident at the Ridgewalk Parkway overpass just shortly after 1:30 p.m., said CC-FES Spokesperson Tim Cavender.

Cavender said the accident occured when a black Ford pick-up truck allegedly "rolled several times" and landed on the wall underneath the bridge.
