Farmers Market Features Canning, Weaving

Learn how to can and weave at Saturday's Woodstock Farmers Market.

This Saturday the Main Street Woodstock Farmers Market will feature a canning demonstration beginning at 9:30am with a market walk to show what to look for as far as quality, seasonality, etc. when canning. There will also be a weaving demonstration.

Shoppers can chose from various variety of apples, corn, fresh baked bread, potatoes, tomatoes, jams & jellies, granolla bars, cupcakes, flavored boiled and roasted peanuts, lye soaps, fresh fruit preserves, honey, tarts, teas, scones, eggplant, peppers, pepper sauce, dog treats, hydro lettuce, cherry tomatoes,  cucumbers, flowers, herbs, fig bars, and more.

The Farmers Market is sponsored by Cherokee Bank and will be open every Saturday through Oct. 27. Market hours are 8:30am-11:30am. at the Woodstock City Center Park Lot, corner of Main St & Towne Lake Pkwy
