Another twist on the natural foods movement will soon make its mark in Woodstock.
Ancient Awakenings, a company that promotes and produces probiotic foods and drinks, will open later this month.
The grand opening is slated for Aug. 26, said co-owner Steven Rankin. The store will be located along Highway 92 between Justin Drive and Hames Road.
"We want this to be a true natural store where anything and everything here is in its true, natural form," Rankin added.
All "live foods" will be sold at the store, Rankin added. Some products include organic cultured vegetables, coconut kefir, organic kombucha tea and grape water kefir.
Natural soaps, shampoos and lotions are also slated to be for sale.
