Natural Strides Among Best Running Stores in America

A natural running store in downtown Woodstock is one of the best in the nation.

That's according to a ranking compiled by Competitor magazine, which listed Natural Strides as one of the 50 Best Running Stores in America.

The listings, which will be compiled in the magazine's December issue, were announced last week during The Running Event's annual conference.

The stores are selected based on its service, knowledge of running products, merchandising and community service. It's the second consecutive appearance for Natural Strides.

"Specialty retailers are the heart and soul of the running business and it was a pleasure and privilege to recognize these stores for their excellence in customer service and community support," said Mark Sullivan, editor of Running Insight, a Formula 4 Media publication. "The 50 Best Running Stores in America represent the best that the running business has to offer in terms of customer satisfaction and superior retailing."

Natural Strides opened in October 2011, and specializes in teaching runners and walkers alike natural movements to reduce and prevent pain and injuries. Along with running apparel and a slew of minimalist and barefoot style shoes, it offers proper fitting, gait analysis and ChiRunning instructions designed to teach customers how to improve their natural running form.
