New Seafood Restaurant To Open in Downtown Woodstock

Reel Seafood will open in the old Priest Home Furnishings location on Main Street.

A new restaurant is slated to soon open in downtown Woodstock.

Reel Seafood is close to opening its doors at 8670 Main Street, according to its Facebook page. The restaurant will be located in the old Priest Home Furnishings location.

The most recent occupant of the space was Woodstock Art & Glass, which closed last April.

The restaurant describes itself as offering a fresh and distinct approach to the seafood restaurant industry.

"With a casual atmosphere highlighted by an open kitchen with front row seating, an expansive dining room, full service bar and patio on Main Street, Reel Seafood provides an ideal venue to enjoy what will reel you in again and again: the food," the restaurant said in its description on its page.

The restaurant will be owned and operated by Executive Chef David Silverman and wife Karen, and will be complimented by staff offering "a wide array of magnificent food and spirits."

Patch has reached out to Silverman to get an exact date of when the restaurant plans to open, but has yet to hear back.
