Muss & Turner's

I remember when we could drive out of our Towne Lake neighborhood and be on 575 heading south in a matter of minutes.  Now the light at Towne Lake Hills East always seems to be "red" for the Parkway traffic.  Forget getting through the light in the first signal rotation at Woodstock High School!  Keep your cool.  Once you cross these hurdles it can be full steam ahead SOUTH, of course.

Muss & Turner's is 35 minutes away; door to door.  Reservations are easy to make at the last minute.  I have not mastered the "plan way in advance" for reservations.  My husband's work schedule does not allow it!

The atmosphere at M&T is casual amid the upscale commercial development in Smyrna. The staff is friendly and efficient.  I always listen when my server recommends his favorites.  His were spot on.  We started with chicken liver mousse.  Oh so very good! Slather it over freshly toasted bread with a side of whole grain mustard.  Our entrees consisted of a bacon burger grilled over a Big Green Egg and duck breast with seasonal vegetables.  Don't forget to order a side of truffle fries with homemade ketchup.  We had no room for dessert despite the choices.  After it was all said and done we spent $60 for two which included one IPA beer and an iced tea.

We will go back when the weather cools down and dine on the covered outside patio.
