Accused Child Murderer Brought Back To Lawrenceville From Mexico - Lawrenceville Patch 

Accused child murderer Christian Vasquez is now in custody at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.

Suspect arrested in Georgia Tech Armed Robbery - Midtown Patch

The Georgia Tech Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a pair of on-campus armed robberies this week and says it has the names of the remaining two suspects and are aggressively pursuing them.

Christopher Jamal Exom, 21, of Riverdale, was arrested on Thursday on two felony counts - parties to a crime and armed robbery - and currently is in the Fulton County jail. Visit Midtown Patch for more on this story. 

Armed Carjacking At Edgewood Retail District - East Atlanta Patch

On Jan 17, 2013 at 10:23 p.m., a carjacking call came up at 1255 Caroline St. The victim was accosted as she was exiting her parked vehicle in the parking lot of Ross Department Store.

Three black males were staged up hiding behind a wall adjacent to the store. When the victim exited her vehicle to go into the trunk the one suspect, armed with a black pistol approached her and demanded her car keys and her cell phone. Visit East Atlanta Patch for more on this story. 

Woman Sentenced in Death of 16-Month-Old Georgia Boy - WSBTV

Fulton County District Attorney's officials say a woman has been sentenced to life in prison without parole in the death of a 16-month-old boy.

District Attorney's spokeswoman Yvette Jones says 48-year-old Mary Spence has been convicted of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and child cruelty. Visit WSBTV for more on this story

Twin Brothers Convicted of Thefts From Vacant Homes - Marietta Daily Journal 

A Cobb County jury on Thursday convicted twin brothers Hashim Ali Hamlett and Salim Fakih Hamlett of burglary and theft charges after finding they had taken appliances and other items from vacant and foreclosed houses in 2009.

Superior Court Judge S. Lark Ingram sentenced Hashim Hamlett, 38, to 20 years in prison without parole. Ingram sentenced Salim Hamlett, 38, to 30 years in prison without parole. Visit the Marietta Daily Journal for more on this story
