Johns Creek High On Lockdown 15 Minutes This Morning - Johns Creek Patch

Johns Creek High School briefly went on lockdown Friday morning at 8:45. According to Susan Hale, Fulton Schools spokesperson, operations at the school on State Bridge Road are back to normal now.

"Johns Creek Police were pursuing a suspect in the area, and around 8:45 a.m., they advised the school to go on lockdown. By 9 a.m., the suspect was apprehended," she said. See Johns Creek Patch for more on this story.

Officials in Walton County Investigating a Suspicious Death - Loganville-Grayson Patch

Brandon Rhinehart, 26, of Loganville, died on April 9, 2013, two days after he sustained a beating, allegedly at the hands of two Loganville woman. Loganville Deputy Police Chief Dick Lowry confirmed Rhinehart's death is part of an open investigation.

"We can't draw any conclusions until we get the toxicology and autopsy results, but it is an open investigation at this time," Lowry said. Loganville-Graysonville Patch has more on this story.

Marietta Craigslist Suspect Arrested - Marietta Patch

A 56-year-old Marietta man who allegedly attempted to rent homes that he did not own was arrested Wednesday night, Cobb County SheriffNeil Warren said this afternoon.

The agency was led to Terry Catron Wednesday night after someone lodged a complaint against him earlier in the day, he said in a news release. Marietta Patch has more on this story.

Seven-Vehicle Accident Results in Minor Injuries - Canton-Sixes Patch

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the cause of seven-vehicle accident that occured Friday morning on Highway 20/Knox Bridge Highway near the entrance of the Georgia National Cemetery.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to the call at 10:30 a.m. and when emergency personnel arrived on the scene, they discovered the accident involved Kia Optima, a BMW, Toyota Scion, Nissan Maxima, a Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla and a Ford pickup truck. Driver Hits Pedestrians at Asylum - East Atlanta Patch

A motorist slammed into a group of pedestrians outside the Asylum in the Village in the overnight hours early Friday morning.

Robby Manley was driving a red 1967 Camaro south on Flat Shoals Avenue. He was laying drags, lost control of the vehicle and drove up on the sidewalk, Atlanta Police Officer Kim Jones said. East Atlanta Patch has more on this story.

Police Arrest 4 in Connection with Recent Kidnappings, Robberies - Buckhead Patch

Atlanta Police announced in a Friday news conference that they arrested four individuals in connection with the series of recent kidnappings and robberies in the Buckhead area this week.

According to Lt. Rodney Woody of APD, on Tuesday in Buckhead, police arrested Taylor Cline, Clevere Jones and Jonorris Gardner in connection with some of the kidnappings and robberies.  Buckhead Patch has more on this story.
