Orville Redenbacher Popcorn Recalled in Woodstock

Classic Kettle Korn ready-to-eat popcorn may contain an undeclared milk allergen.

ConAgra foods today is voluntarily recalling Orville Redenbacher’s Classic Kettle Korn flavor ready-to-eat popcorn packages because they may contain an undeclared milk allergen. In Woodstock, Orville Redenbacher products can be found at places like Kroger, Publix and Target.

According to an alert issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), some bags may accidentally contain white cheddar flavored popcorn, which contains milk, an allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

This recall is only a concern to those who have an allergy or sensitivity to milk. No illnesses have been reported to date, and this is the only Orville Redenbacher product affected. This recall is nationwide.

The popcorn is packaged in 5-ounce and 1.5-ounce red bags with an Orville Redenbacher’s logo.
