UPDATE: Rain, Cool Temperatures In Store This Week for Woodstock

Woodstock residents on Monday and Tuesday will have to dodge showers, and tangle with a brief cold blast mid week. However, mild temperatures are expected to return by Friday.

Don't let those umbrellas get too far out of sight, Woodstock! 

Rain will be in store for Woodstock and Towne Lake residents on Monday and Tuesday, but sunshine will quickly return as the end of the work week draws near.

Monday will bring a 70 percent of rain, with showers and a chance of thunderstorm occurring throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service's 7-day forecast for Woodstock

Otherwise, it will be cloudy with high temperatures hovering around 65 degrees. Winds will be from the southeast and will range between 5 and 10 miles per hour, with gusts reaching as high as 20 miles per hour.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue through Monday night and into Tuesday morning. Monday's low temperature will dip into the low 40s.

Tuesday morning's rain will be replaced by decreasing clouds and a high reaching 59 degrees. Tuesday night will be mostly clear with the low temperatures decreasing to the upper 30s.

Both Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 50s ednesday's low will be around 30 while Thursday's low will be around 35 degrees.

Friday and Saturday will also be sunny, and slightly warmer. Highs will be the upper 60s to low 70s and the low temperatures for both nights will be in the lower to mid 40s.
