Showers Continue Through Tuesday, Clearing by Wednesday

While the wet weather will continue through Tuesday, skies will improve later in the week.

The soggy weather we've been having will continue through at least Tuesday, but relief should be in sight later in the week and through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service forecast for Woodstock, showers and thunderstorms were to remain likely through Monday night and continue into Tuesday, with the potential of flash flooding and highs in the mid-80s.

Conditions are predicted to improve by Wednesday, with only a 30 percent chance of precipitation, partly sunny skies and highs creeping from the mid-to-high-80s through the rest of the week and weekend. The chance of rain will drop to 20 percent by Thursday.
