Woodstock Students Graduate From Colleges, Make Dean's Lists

Several Woodstock students recently achieve post-secondary milestones.

Several Woodstock students have made their loved ones proud as they have reached commendable academic milestones:

Graduations:

Derek Holdway graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Columbus State University:

  • Shawn McCarty graduated with a MPA degree in Justice Administration.
  • David Morrison graduated with a MPA degree in Justice Administration.
  • Pamela Wiggins graduated with a MPA degree in Justice Administration.

Armstrong Atlantic State University:

  • Robert Batchelor graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry
  • Tershel Cheatham graduated with a degree in Biology
  • Emily Wilson, from Woodstock, GA, graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education

Dean's, president's lists:

  • John Kaiser Barrows of Woodstock Named to Clemson University President's List
  • Madison Lin Luker, Michael Blake Madani, Carl Franklin Milner, Allison Laura Templeton and Reid Edward Webster were all named to Clemson's Dean's List
  • Mandalyn Holasek, Erin McGillen, Christian Oleson, Jeremy Slone, Emily Wilson were named to Armstrong Atlantic State University's dean's list.  

Janie E. Harris was also named as a Dean's Scholar at Piedmont College for achievements during the recent spring semester. 

Amy Fey, a graduate student at Armstrong Atlantic, earned a prestigious internship with Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Fey is working towards a Master of Science in Health Services Administration at Armstrong, which is only one of two such accredited programs in the state.
