Woodstock High School present Horton Foote's "The Young Man from Atlanta"

Woodstock High School theater department invites us to come see their production of Horton Foote's, "The Young Man from Atlanta."

Come enjoy a local production of Horton Foote's, “The Young Man from Atlanta,” as Mr. Grant Sinclair directs Woodstock High School students in this first of a two part play. The first installment, will be at Woodstock High School on March 21-23, at 7:30 p.m. The show runs roughly over an hour and half, and has a ten minute intermission. As mentioned, this is the first of two shows that the Woodstock High School theater department with be putting on for us. The follow up to “The Young Man from Atlanta” is called “Dividing the Estate,” and will be playing on April 25, 26, and 27. “Diving the Estate is a lighter, more humor filled piece than it's more serious toned “The Young Man from Atlanta.”

Mr. Sinclair says the cast is comprised of a variety of grade levels, and has two students who have been awarded honors for their craft. Of the nine student cast, leads Evan Bethards, winner of the Region Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, as well as Mady Griffin, who was named to the All-Star Cast for Region One Act this year, lend their talents to this production. On behalf of these accomplished actors and Woodstock High School's director, Mr. Grant Sinclair, I invite you to come out and enjoy a local play to support our community and to encourage the arts.
