Boys Basketball Tryouts - North Georgia Irish

The North Georgia Irish Basketball Program is excited to announce tryout dates for our Winter Season!!

BOYS TEAM TRYOUTS: 
3rd/4th Grade Teams: September 9th – 6:30 – 8:30PM
5th Grade: September 10 – 6:30 -8:30PM
6th Grade: September 12 – 6:30 – 8:30PM
7th Grade: (Last week of September – TBD)

Note regarding 6th Grade Tryouts: We will not ask for a final decision until your designated middle school tryouts have taken place. Therefore, players who want to tryout for the Irish as a backup in case they do not make their middle school team are more than welcome to attend. As we will rank all players, those who would like to come for an evaluation are welcome as well. It’s our preference as a program that you play for your 6th grade feeder program if possible.

ALL TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AT THE SAME LOCATION: River Church | 2335 Sixes Road Canton, GA 30114
Tryout form can be located on our website – www.northgeorgiairish.com There will be a $10.00 tryout fee per player in order to pay for the rental costs of the gym.
Teams will be selected the week of your tryout Teams will carry no more than 10 players. 8 player rosters are ideal to provide adequate playing time.

MORE INFORMATION:
Practices for ALL teams will start the 1st week of October.
ALL teams will practice at All-Tournament Players Park in Marietta, GA.
ALL Games will be played at All-Tournament Players Park in Marietta, GA Each team will practice 1 night per week, full-court for 2 hours.
Twice per month we will hold “Fundamental Fridays” where players can come and receive 2 hours of pure fundamental basketball training.
Cost per player will range from $300 - $400.
Costs include: Cost of practice space, equipment, cost of winter league, custom uniforms, shooting shirt and team insurance.
