Goodwill® to Host Job Fairs in Cartersville and Woodstock

Goodwill of North Georgia is giving job seekers in Bartow and Cherokee County the chance to connect with dozens of local employers. 

On Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, the nonprofit’s Cartersville and Woodstock career centers will host multi-employer job fairs. Employers will be on-site at both locations recruiting workers for more than 20 different professional, warehouse and retail positions. The job fairs will be held from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.  

Known for its donation centers and stores, Goodwill of North Georgia uses the money from its donated goods program to fund its career centers and employment services. The facilities have become a resource for more than 40,000 job seekers and thousands of area businesses looking to hire staff. 

Among the resources available at Goodwill’s career centers are computers, résumé-writing tools, local job postings, photocopiers, telephones and other resources. All of the nonprofit’s career centers are free and open to the public. Goodwill also provides recruitment fair space, interview rooms and other services for local employers. 

Job fair attendees should arrive in professional interview attire and bring a blue or black ink pen and several copies of their résumés. Interested applicants can contact their nearest Goodwill career center for information on how to prepare for the upcoming job fairs.
