Play is the Thing

The Walker School invites parents of preschoolers to partake in a special event,  Play is the Thing: How to foster your child’s play toward passion and purpose.

Join Megan Howard, Walker’s Lower School Principal, on Wednesday, July 17 at 10 a.m. in our Preschool multipurpose room as she shows you and your child how a summer play day can lead to “strengths chasing” and a clearer purpose feeding into the next school year. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 may enjoy supervised play with our teachers during the 45-minute talk.  An informal, optional group art project will follow.

This event is free and open to the public. For more details and to register yourself and your child, please visit thewalkerschool.org/play
