Woodstock Arts Are Blooming in April

Arts are in bloom during April all around Woodstock and Towne Lake.

There are some terrific arts events going on during April all around Woodstock and Towne Lake in Cherokee County. Just check the Patch Events calendar and you'll find many fun family activities to suit all interests and at reasonable prices, too.

Local high schools are performing their Spring Musicals:

"Seussical the Musical" is at from April 12 through 14,  "Grease" is at this month and on April 26, 27, 28, presents "The Sound of Music."

Mark Twain is coming to in Woodstock on April 21 bringing his particular brand of American humor and homespun music. (Actually it's Kurt Sutton - a nationally known actor, performer, musician...)

Elm Street is presenting a crazy family comedy version of Jack and the Beanstalk April 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 at the City Center Auditorium. Innovative set design volunteers Cindy and Jim Flanders have created a beanstalk that actually grows!

Up in Canton at the on April 14 is the Georgia Foothills Film Festival starting at 7 p.m.

is performing "Alice In Wonderland" at Elm Street on Saturday, April 28.

Registration is ongoing for all kinds of summer camps including fine arts, drama, music and dance. Be sure to get your creative child signed up before summer arrives.
