Debbie Tidwell Now Teaching at Elm Street

Debbie Tidwell becomes Artist in Residence at Elm Street.

Well known local artist and art teacher, Debbie Tidwell, has joined Elm Street Cultural Arts Village as an Artist in Residence this Fall.  Debbie brings with her an extensive career in the visual arts, especially in oils and portraits.  Many of her students have been with her for several years and her classes are always full with waiting lists.

Bringing Debbie into Elm Street is just the beginning of what we hope will be a great opportunity for many of the talented and seasoned artists in our community as the four-acre Village begins to be developed.

Debbie has a BFA from UGA and has worked in areas of art from graphics to decorative arts for 30 years. She focused her attention on oil painting and portraits about 16 years ago and began teaching painting about 10 years ago.

To contact Debbie directly about joining her classes email: dtidwellart@yahoo.com or phone  770-289-2700.
