Ghost Tales and Trails Is a Hit

Ghost Tales and Trails comes to Woodstock for a second year with seasoned storytellers, hot chocolate and cider and much more.

The combined efforts of the and the Greenprints Alliance have brought the second annual Ghost Tales and Trails to Downtown Woodstock. Opening weekend was filled with spooky stories by equally spooky storytellers, hot chocolate and spiced cider from , 'Boo!' boxes with your own personal ghost inside and a wacky staged telling of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" inside City Center Auditorium. It's a family and kid friendly Halloween event that you won't want to miss.

Sponsors include LGE Community Credit Union, Dentistry of Olde Towne, Ember Hot Yoga and Firestone Grill.

If you weren't able to be there opening weekend, you're in luck because there are two more nights this weekend on Friday and Saturday! Tickets are only $11 for adults and $6 for ages 12 and under and may be purchased in advance online or at the door starting at 6:30 p.m. each evening. Tours leave every 15 minutes. Call 678-494-4251 or go to www.elmstreetarts.org for more information.

The cast features a handful of seasoned performers from around Cherokee and beyond including Paul Boehlert, Jason and Erin Wilson, Siobhan and Ryan Brumbelow, Joe Lemmo, Grant Garlinghouse, Hannah Schug and Jessica Williams.   Costumed tour guides from Elm Street's Teen Actors Guild (TAG) make sure the moving audience gets safely from place to place.

A host of volunteers and a market with fresh breads, jellies and other locally produced goods provides something fun to do while waiting for a tour to begin.  Those who only wish to see 'Sleepy Hollow' rather than go on the walking tour may purchase special tickets.
