Hi. I am Gayla Smith and I am the owner/hair designer of Hair by Gayla Salon. I have been asked this question from a new client that went to another salon. When she came to me, she was very upset about the haircut. She said that the salon she went to was very busy and she felt she was rushed through her appointment.
So to help her grow her hair out of this bad cut, I suggested that we try to patch up the misses pieces of this haircut. We can do this without someone having to loose a lot of length if that is a concern. I helped the client with the right styling product and gave her styling tips to make this grow out journey less stressful for her. I also suggest cute head bands and clips on her extra bad hair days. The main thing with growing out a bad haircut is you have to give it time to grow out. I also suggest to research the next hair stylist that you go to. Look at that stylist reviews on the web. Ask friends who does their hair and do research. Maybe go in for a complimentary consultation and get to know your stylist. At Hair by Gayla Salon, I do a complimentary consultation and we can look and pictures and just chat about the haircut you want.
