Coats 4 Kids Taking Donations

Discovery Point is accepting new or gently-used children's coats to be distributed throughout Georgia to needy children by The Salvation Army.

Development Centers is partnering with local radio station Q100, The Salvation Army and for this year’s Coats 4 Kids event. The goal of Coats 4 Kids is to collect new or gently-used children’s coats, which will then be distributed by The Salvation Army to children in need throughout Georgia this winter.

“Participating in Coats 4 Kids gives our children the opportunity to discover the joy of sharing first-hand,” said Cindy Siegel, director of operations for Discovery Point Franchising, Inc. “It is one thing to talk about sharing toys in the classroom, but it is much more meaningful when the children can participate in a program that helps other children.”
