Community Update

We lost our precious son suddenly on Nov. 30, 2013, one day short of his 25th birthday. We were broken & could barely function.
We knew Lakeside was very close to our home & at first we hesitated, concerned about how we would feel passing by each time we left our home. My husband called another funeral home in the area then finally decided to make the call to Lakeside. After speaking with Kyle my husband knew we needed to make Lakeside our first visit. Kyle greeted us warmly, there was an instant connection, as Kyle continued to speak to us all of our hesitations of being too close to our home were erased from our minds.
The loving kindness that we were shown by Kyle, his family and staff was truly exceptional, genuine and sincere.
Paul took great care to guide us through all the steps and explained to us clearly what our options were, at NO time did we ever feel like we were being pressured, amazingly just the opposite. My husband and I were very much on the same page of what our desires were so everything went very smoothly.
Another major consideration for us was we had decided that we wanted to have our son cremated,.and Lakeside also offers this service. We felt very strongly that our son had been through enough and we did not want his body transported to an outside facility to have this done. Kyle assured us that the utmost respect would be given to our son during the entire process.
This has been the most difficult time in our life and we truly feel blessed that we made the choice to use Lakeside Funeral Home. The compassion they showed our son and our entire family and friends is truly a ministry.
We can not thank them enough!!
Warmly,
Eric & Mary Conrad
