Woodstock Going to Party '80s Style

Spend the first Friday of every month in Downtown Woodstock and enjoy the many restaurants and stores that the area has to offer as the downtown merchants stay open late from 6 to 9 p.m. and celebrate with a themed downtown-wide festival.

For each Friday Night Live theme, participating downtown merchants will have activities going on at their stores and throughout the downtown area related to the theme of the month.

April 6:

Join the downtown merchants as they celebrate all things from the 1980's. Be sure to dress up in your favorite '80s outfit or as your favorite '80s icon for the '80s night costume contest.

There will be live music on the sidewalks during the event throughout Downtown Woodstock.

Everyone is encouraged to dress up like it is the 1980s. Wear your favorite '80s attire, dress up as your favorite '80s movie, TV or music star. We want to see all sorts of '80s style in Downtown Woodstock for '80s night

There will be an '80s Night Costume Contest! You can win a $100 Downtown Gift certificate if you win our '80s night costume contest. To enter the contest, stop by the during the event to have your picture taken in your costume. This picture will be used for an online poll we will hold to select the best costume.

There will also be a $100 Downtown Gift Certificate Giveaway. Every $10 you spend at a downtown business during Friday Night Live can enter you into a drawing for a $100 Downtown Dollars Gift Certificate. Just bring your receipt for any purchase made at a downtown business during the event to the Visitors Center to enter the contest. For example, if your spend $50, you will be entered five times into the drawing

will offer buy one, get one appetizers to anyone dressed in '80s garb before 6 p.m. Pure will have live music on the rooftop from 7 till 11 p.m.

will have six artists, tie dye, bookmarks and airbrush to name a few, out front of the store and some wacky '80s outfits.

will feature live music by Lisa Chauntel from 8 to 10 p.m.

Roomscapes Gallery and Heartworks Studios will be having great fun on FNL with live music from our local favorite Blaine Steven Lusk and new artwork by Deborah Tidwell. So join us for wine and art and celebrate the '80s in costume!

will have steak night!

The Woodstock Visitors Center will host game night where you can play your favorite board or card game in the historic setting of Dean's Store. 

Snow cones will be for sale in front of the Woodstock Visitors Center. Be sure to stop by to enjoy this tasty treat.
