In Memory: Anita Alley, Longtime Piano Teacher
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
The following obituary was submitted by Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory in Roswell:
Anita Holcombe Alley, 66, of Woodstock, died on Dec. 31, 2013. Born in Cumming to Jasper (Jack) and Evelyn Maloney Holcombe, she was preceded in death in 1998 by her husband David R. Alley.
Anita worked as a music (piano) teacher for many years and was a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Stacey and Shane Daniel and Alissa and Michael Dunn; grandson Wesley Shane Daniel and his wife Jamie; and brother Allen Holcombe and his wife Randi.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
