In Memory: Jerry Meyers, a "Masterful Salesman"

Meyers was born in Brooklyn and spent his entire in sales and worked for Pitney Bowes.

Jerry Meyers, 76 of Woodstock died Tuesday, March 11 at Emory University Hospital following a period of declining health. 

Jerry was born on January 14, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Julius and Fae Meyers. He worked his entire career in Sales having worked for Pitney Bowes for many years. Jerry was a masterful salesman and handyman; there wasn’t anything he couldn’t sell or fix. 

Survivors include his loving sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Deborah Meyers of Cumming, Andy and Gina Meyers of Cumming; grandchildren, Jeffery Scott Meyers, II, McKenna Marie Meyers; step-grandson, Lane Nalley; companion of 20 years. Darlene Vaughan of Woodstock; her daughter Debbie Vaughan, a brother and a sister and other relatives and loving friends. 

A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Macedonia Memorial Park, 10685 East Cherokee Drive, Canton, GA 30115. The family received friends Tuesday, March 18 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Lakeside Funeral Home.
