Obituary: Elizabeth "Granny" Gaddis, 87
Elizabeth Gaddis enjoyed watching basketball, baseball and doing word search puzzles.

Elizabeth “Granny” Gaddis, 87, of Woodstock passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Arbor Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Padgett and Rev. Joey Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from noon to 10 p.m. Gaddis will lie in-state at the church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Gaddis was a member of Arbor Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching basketball and baseball and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by her children, Claudine Graham of Royston, Runette Norton of Acworth, Mark Gaddis of Canton and Jerrell Gaddis of Woodstock; siblings, Willis Owen of Canton, Glynese Hyde of Tennessee and Thomas Owen of Woodstock; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
