Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Marietta - Marietta Patch

The Marietta Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident.

The accident occurred at 7:43 p.m. Sunday on Powder Springs Street, according to Marietta Police.

A 55-year-old male was riding a bicycle on Powder Springs Street near Natchez Trace when he was struck by what witnesses describe as a black SUV, Police said. Visit Marietta Patch for more.

Authorities Searching for Missing 17-Year-Old - Oconee Patch

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is searching for 17-year-old Joshua Stuart, identified as a missing person in a Nixle alert sent Sunday night.

Joshua has brown eyes and brown hair, according to the advisory, and was wearing jeans and a yellow striped polo shirt. He was last seen driving a silver 2012 Honda Civic with Georgia tag BSJ 8391.

Patient Ejected From Ambulance in I-575 Accident - Canton-Sixes Patch

A patient and two medics riding in anAmeriMed Emergency Medical Services ambulance was injured in a roll-over accident early Sunday morning in Canton.

According to a Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services press release, dispatchers received a call around 2 a.m. Sunday from the patient inside the ambulance notifying them of the accident, which occurred along Interstate 575 near Georgia Highway 140 at Exit 16. Visit Canton-Sixes Patch for more on this story.

A Savannah man was arrested Friday after police say he climbed into a wildlife center's wolf enclosure bearing sugar, soy milk and a nearly empty bottle of Kahlua.

According to a Morris News Service report, Savannah police were called to Oatland Island Wildlife Center at about noon, after visitors to the center reported that a man was in the wolf pen. Fort Stewart Patch has additional details.
