Car Lands in Lake With No Injuries

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

A Cadillac was found in a lake at 620 Jep Wheeler Road at approxiamtely 3 p.m. today. The 49-year-old male driver escaped without any injuries.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services arrived on scene to find that the front portion of the car was in the water and the back portion was hanging on the bank of the lake.

Tim Cavender, Cherokee Fire and Emergency Services spokesman, said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
