Cherokee Sheriff's Office Seeks Suspect Who Fled Tobacco Store

He allegedly crawled in the restroom drop ceiling, where he remained for nearly one hour.

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is trying to find the man who allegedly crawled in the restroom drop ceiling at Acworth Art & Tobacco Saturday night and tampered with an interior motion sensor.

The agency needs your help locating him, which is why officials this afternoon released surveillance footage showing the man's face.

Though no theft was detected, "we are asking if anyone in the community knows the individual in the photo," said Lt. Jamie Gianfala with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. "The owner of the store thinks his first name is Frank. The owner says he is a regular in the store and hangs out in the area."
