Day-Old Burn Pile Destroys House

No one was injured in the house fire in the Victoria Station subdivision.

A Woodstock house was demolished in a Tuesday afternoon fire in the Victoria Station subdivision off Bells Ferry Road.

responded to a call at approxiamately 5:15 p.m. at 104 Victoria Station, said Tim Cavender, spokesman for Cherokee Fire and EMS.

The house fire was started by a burn pile that had been lit Monday, Cavender said.

No one was injured, but Cavender said the house is a total loss.
