Flags Taken From Towne Lake Locations

Nine American flags in the Towne Lake area of Woodstock were stolen on Labor Day.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office announced that nine custom-made flags were taken.

On Friday Cherokee County Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said the flags had been placed at several locations by the Towne Lake Optimist Club.

Two flags were taken from Running Deer Parkway, two from Towne Lake Hills South Drive, two from in front of the Wendy's on Towne Lake Parkway, one from Victoria Road, one from Township Drive and one from in front of the Chick-fil-A on Towne Lake Parkway.

The flags are estimated to be worth $40 each. If you have information about the flag thefts call Cherokee County investigators at 770-928-0239.

I had my flag stolen on July 4th of this year as well. Live in the Towne Lake Hills East Sub.
