Funeral Set For Waleska Woman Killed in Crash
Friends and family will say goodbye Cortney Jade King on Tuesday.
The Waleska woman who died in a one-car accident Saturday afternoon will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel inside South Canton Funeral Home for Cortney Jade King, 24, who died from injuries she suffered in a one-car accident along Highway 108/Fincher Road near Ammons Road just east of Waleska.
She will be buried at Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
The Georgia State Patrol responded to a single car crash around 1:35 p.m. in which the 2004 Volkswagen New Beetle King was driving ran off the road and hit several trees.

GSP Spokesperson Gordy Wright said King, who had her five-year-old niece Alexis King as a passenger in the car, was traveling eastbound when her vehicle ran off the road.
Wright said King over-corrected, left the roadway and hit several trees.
King, who was not wearing her seat belt, died at the scene from her injuries.
The little girl was properly restrained in a booster seat, and was transported to Northside-Hospital Cherokee where she was treated for cuts to her hands and arms.
King is survived by mother Gina Blanton King of Waleska; father Greg (Brandy) King of Adairsville; brother Chas King of Waleska; sisters Sidney, Sierra, Makayla and Brea King, all of Adairsville; domestic partner Brittany Satterfield of Waleska; grandmother Reecie Gig (Bill) Wienke of Waleska; niece Alexis "Lexi" King of Waleska; and nephew Gage King of Waleska.
