Man Pulls Knife on Walmart Staff

Woodstock Police are asking for the public's help in locating this 22 year old.

A 22-year-old man pulled a knife on Walmart loss prevention personnel after he was taken into custody for shoplifting and escaped. Woodstock investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating Emilio Sanchez after this May 9 event.

This Woodstock man is believed to be armed with a knife and may be on foot or staying with friends in the city or metro Atlanta area, said Brittany Duncan of the .

While waiting for the police to arrive, Sanchez threatened and pulled a knife on the loss prevention personnel after they observed him attempting to steal two Xbox video games. He hit several cars when he left the Highway 92 Walmart in a gray 2004 Honda Civic with the license plate number BKM0707, Duncan said.

Sanchez has warrants for his arrest for aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, theft by shoplifting and reckless driving.

Duncan said anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sanchez is encouraged to call the Woodstock Police Department at 770-592-6030.
