News Tip Helps Police

Two individuals involved in a vehicle and credit card theft case were caught by Woodstock Investigators.

The male and female were identified from the released by the last Thursday, April 7 in the vehicle theft and stolen credit cards case.

A tip from Crime Stoppers Atlanta led Woodstock Investigators to Maureen Helen Tucker, 46, and Brian David Baker, 48, both of Marietta, said Brittany Duncan, spokeswoman for the Woodstock Police Department.

Maureen was charged with financial transaction card fraud and theft by receiving stolen property. Brian was charged with financial transaction card fraud while other charges are pending, Duncan said.

The couple was seen on Walmart and Target's surveillance cameras after purchasing vacuum cleaners, a microwave, televisions, IPODS and GPS devices with stolen credit cards. Earlier in the day, they are believed to have taken a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado from LA Fitness where they found the driver's wallet in the vehicle.
