McDougal had two travel bags with her, one purple and black in color and the other white and blue. She was wearing an orange tank top, blue jeans and flip flops.

The teen is 5-foot-6 and weighs 116 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

On May 3, a man who identified himself as McDougal's uncle said she was safe.

"Shalyn is my niece," Chris Chambers wrote in a comment on Holly Springs-Hickory Flat Patch. "She has been in contact with both of her parents. She is safe and with friends. Shalyn refuses to come be with her family because the last time she did so she was forced into a cop car and made to go back to Georgia where she does not want to be. Her mother and father have been in contact with the Canton PD and have passed on this info."

But on Monday, Baker said authorities were "still looking for" McDougal.

Anyone with any information about Greene is urged to call 911 or Cherokee investigators at 678-898-7146.
