Passer-by Removes Entrapped Driver
One lane of I-575 northbound was blocked in the single car accident this morning.
A 63-year-old female was removed from her overturned vehicle by a passer-by this morning in a single vehicle accident on I-575.
and responded to I-575 northbound, just north of Highway 92 to find a silver Nissan Pathfinder on its side blocking a lane of traffic at approximately 10:45 a.m., said Tim Cavender, spokesman of the Cherokee County Fire and EMS.
The driver was treated on the scene and refused to be transported to an area hospital, Cavender said. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
