Police Seek Help with Armed Robbery

The suspect is a black male between 30 to 40 years old who was involved in an armed robbery at a Chevron Gas Station.

are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Arnold Mill Road Dec. 7.

The suspect is a black male between 30 to 40 years old. He was wearing a white baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, stone wash jeans and black shoes at the time of the incident, said Brittany Duncan, spokeswoman for the Woodstock Police Department. He is believed to live in the area or has family or friends in the area.

On Dec. 7, officers responded to a call at approximately 10:10 p.m. where the Chevron clerk said the suspect had entered the store and purchased five lottery tickets 25 minutes earlier. When the clerk told the suspect he was closing at 10 p.m., the suspect approached the counter, pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun from his jacket pocket and demanded money from the cash register, Duncan said. The suspect fled from the store after he received the money.

The store clerk suffered from minor bruises during the incident, Duncan said.
