Police Seek Public's Help in Stolen Vehicle Case

A man and woman were caught on surveillance cameras using credit cards that were left in the vehicle at LA Fitness.

The is seeking the public’s help with a stolen vehicle incident that occurred last Thursday, March 31 at .

The owner of the stolen 2005 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab that has since been recovered arrived at LA Fitness at approximately 5:30 p.m., left his gym bag in an unsecured locker with his car keys, and the Woodstock police was called at 7 p.m., said Brittany Duncan, the spokeswoman for the Woodstock Police Department.

Credit cards that were left in the vehicle were used at Walmart and Target to purchase vacuum cleaners, a microwave, televisions, IPODS and GPS devices.

A male and female were caught on surveillance cameras at both stores. The male is described to be approximately 5’8 with a shaved head, wearing glasses and a tattoo on his left forearm starting at the wrist. The female is described to be approximately 5’5 with blonde hair, Duncan said.

This same male is believed to be involved in similar incidents in other areas including Sandy Springs, Duncan said.
