UPDATE: Missing Acworth Man Found Safe

Authorities fear for Teddy Adkins' safety due to his mental state.

UPDATE (6:08 p.m.):Β The Cherokee Sheriff's Office has confirmed that missing Acworth man Ted "Teddy" Adkins III, 32, has been found safe in south Georgia.

ORIGINAL STORY (12:41 a.m.):Β 
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate an Acworth man who has been missing since Monday.

Ted "Teddy" Adkins III, 32, was reported missing by his family late Tuesday after last being seen around noon on the day before. According to the Sheriff's Office, Adkins may be in danger due to his mental state.

Adkins is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 380 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Adkins was last seen driving a 2004 black Ford Expedition with Georgia license plate PAT9192.Β 

Anyone who spots Adkins or comes into contact with him is urged to call 911 immediately.
