Third Murder Suspect Caught — While Hitting Golf Balls

Benson Kyle Lloyd, 28, is one of three people who have been charged in the shooting death of a Woodstock man.

Being on the run for allegedly killing a Woodstock man didn't stop one of three suspects from enjoying himself with a leisurely activity.

Investigators with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office nabbed Benson Kyle Lloyd, 28, of Jasper, Wednesday afternoon while he was hitting golf balls in the PGA Tour Superstore on George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw, said Cherokee Sheriff's Office Spokesman Lt. Jay  Baker.

Cherokee investigators were able to bring Lloyd into custody with the help of the Cobb County Police Department.

Baker said Lloyd had a male friend with him at the store, and Lloyd was hitting the balls inside the store.

Lloyd, along with John Michael Taylor, 27, of Acworth and Krystle Gail Taylor, 27, of Dawsonville, all remain behind bars at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
