Warrant: Woodstock Man Punched, Kicked Marietta Police Officer

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Woodstock resident Johnathan Lee Horton.

A patient allegedly threatened a WellStar Kennestone Hospital emergency room nurse, then punched and kicked a Marietta police officer who tried to diffuse the situation.

About 1:25 a.m. June 5, Johnathan Lee Horton of Woodstock came to the emergency room "for treatment for anger management," but allegedly refused an injection of doctor-ordered medication, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

Horton became angry at the staff, and allegedly said that he was going to "punch (the nurse) in the head" if anyone tried to give him a shot, the officer wrote in the warrant.
