Update: Missing Woman Found Safe
Evelyn Satterfield, 81, is believed to have driven away from her Northeast Cobb home around 2 p.m. Monday.

Evelyn R. Satterfield was located by a Commerce Police Department officer. She was found safe and unharmed after her car had ran out of gas on I-85, police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said. Satterfield's family members have been contacted and are on their way to pick her up.

An 81-year-old Northeast Cobb woman with Alzheimer’s is missing, and the has asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to issue a Mattie’s Call to help find her.
Evelyn Satterfield of the 900 block of Velma Drive disappeared around 2 p.m. Monday while her husband was out of the home for a short time, police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said.

She is believed to have driven away in a silver 1998 Buick LeSabre with Georgia license plate 491-NRY.
Satterfield is a 5-foot-4, 184-pound white woman with hazel eyes and brown hair. She was wearing a green shirt when she was last seen.
Police ask anyone with information about her location to call 911 or the Crimes Against Persons Unit at 770-499-3945.
