Woodstock Man, 25, Dies from Single-Car Accident
The cause of the Friday afternoon accident is still under investigation.
A 25-year-old Woodstock man died this weekend from a Friday accident.
William Kyle Edson was involved in a single-car accident on Trickum Road near Regent Way, said Lt. Jay Baker of the .
Edson was transported to Kennestone Friday afternoon with severe head injuries after arrived on scene just before 2 p.m., said Tim Cavender, spokesman for Cherokee Fire and EMS. He was entrapped in his gray Volvo and had to be removed.

While the accident is still under investigation, Baker said the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit said it appears the vehicle simply left the roadway and traveled deep into the woods striking several trees.
