UPDATE: Missing Woodstock Man Found

Howard Hutton, 81, was supposed to arrive at his daughter's home in Alabama on Sunday.

Update at 9:05 p.m.: The Cherokee Sheriff's Office reports Howard Hutton, 81, of Woodstock has been found and returned to his home.

An elderly Woodstock man who was supposed to arrive at relative's home in Alabama has been reported missing.

Howard Hutton, 81, was last heard from on Saturday, and was supposed to arrive to his daughter's home in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on Sunday, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said on Monday.

Deputies with the sheriff's office went to Hutton's home in Woodstock Monday morning to conduct a welfare check on the man, who does not suffer from dementia or other "serious health problems," Lt. Jay Baker said. 

Hutton drives a red 2013 Honda Accord tag with license plate number BUS2173. 

Anyone with information about Hutton’s location is asked to call 911.
