Woodstock Regions Bank Robbed, Police Seek Suspect

A man allegedly robbed Regions Bank at the corner of Highway 92 and Main Street around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The Woodstock Police Department is asking the public to help them identify a man suspected of robbing Regions Bank Tuesday morning.

According to the Woodstock Police Department, officers responded to what's known as a hold-up alarm call at Regions Bank at around 9:10 a.m.

Woodstock Police Spokesperson Brittany Duncan said bank employees told officers a man entered the bank and handed over to the teller a note demanding money.

The teller complied with the request and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

"Officers are currently searching the area and following up on leads," she stated.

The suspect is described as a white man, weighing between 250 and 300 pounds and has blond hair. He was shown on camera wearing an orange baseball cap, orange shirt, black jeans and white shoes.

He was also seen carrying a black bag with an Atlanta Braves logo.
