Cherokee Commission To Review Financials, Possible Sign Ordinance Changes

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners will discuss possibly making changes to its sign ordinance during its work session today.

The Cherokee County Commission will discuss its sign ordinance and first quarter 2013 financials during its meeting today.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., following its 3 p.m. work session. The meeting will be held on the bottom level of the county administration building.

Along with the sign ordinance amendment discussions, the commission will also hear from Cherokee County District Attorney Shannon Wallace, who will discuss her office with the commission.Β

Commissioners will also review first quarter financials during the work session.

During the regular meeting, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office will also present its 4th quarter awards.Β
