Commission to Discuss Emergency Relief

The Cherokee County commissioners will hear a new plan to establish better emergency relief at Tuesday's meeting.

 are pushing to establish a vendor list for those affected by a disaster on or in their property, according to the agenda. 

The initial contacts for the list will be 1-800-BOARDUP or the Red Cross.

Other agenda items include budget approval for another year ofrural transportation in 2012 and the apportionment of funds to repair fire engine 21.
