Two-Day Road Work Begins Today
Towne Lake Parkway will be reduced to one lane today and Wednesday.
The announced will be doing construction on Towne Lake Parkway today and Wednesday.
The following details were released:
Tuesday: Public Works will be preparing Towne Lake Parkway in front of the for repairs to be completed for Wednesday. This is near the intersection of Towne Lake and Woodstock Parkway. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and delays are expected.
Wednesday: At 9:30 a.m., Public Works will be repairing a portion of the road on Towne Lake Parkway in front of the Thomas Eye Group. This is near the intersection of Towne Lake and Woodstock Parkway. The repairs should be complete by 4 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, and delays are expected.
Public Works will be closing East Main Street behind the Woodstock Train Depot while water line installations are completed. This section will be closed behind the Depot only from 7 a.m. till 5 p.m. Detour signs will be put out to show an alternate route to the restaurants and businesses in this area. This section will be closed again at a later date for paving.
