Early Voting Starts Today

Cherokee County residents have several opportunities to vote early.

Today is the first day in which Cherokee County residents can vote ahead of the Nov. 6 general election.

Early voting starts today and will be held this week through Friday Oct. 26 at the Albert Stone Elections Office at 400 East Main Street in Canton. It will also be held Saturday Oct. 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the elections office, as well as at Ball Ground Public Library, Hickory Flat Public Library, Rose Creek Public Library and Woodstock Public Library.

Advanced voting will continue at the aforementioned locations between 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 29-Nov.2 and all polling precincts will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Election Day.
